Every member of BBLANZ should be familiar with the open ladder competition, The ANZAC Open. This competition provides everyone with an opportunity to create new teams that will enter the league in the future. However, in order to prevent farming and congestion within the league, we have limited the amount of teams that are accepted each season to a maximum of 16. This means only 1 of the 3 teams you entered into the competition have a chance to stay in the league. In other words, think of your 3 teams as 3 chances to enter a newly seasoned team into the league itself (not to mention a shot at the ANZAC title at the end of every season).
So what has this to do with SpinBBLANZ and what is it?
Some might be a little disjointed with The ANZAC Open after putting all that work into 2 other teams, just to have them dropped. But the SpinBBLANZ competition is a place where the fun can continue and teams can grown without limitations. SpinBBLANZ, like The ANZAC Open, is an open ladder competition, however, there is no registration or restrictions on teams. The only rule is that all teams start brand new, THATS IT! More or less.
And to keep things interesting, every 4 months we will hold the SpinSmash Tournament. This tournament will be open via a registration process aimed toward the teams highest in the SpinBBLANZ ladder. All the rules for SpinSmash will be revealed at a later date. If AnA is our 'alternate' league for 'weird' competitions, then Spin will be a 'PIRATE' league for the 'FREAKIEST' comps around!
